I’m interested in making and conversing with those who make. I’ve never been to art school or studied or made art in any formal way. This blog chronicles my attempts to get to that point with textiles as my medium of choice.

I am a midwestern mid-lifer returning to art school in textiles. Since my early 20s I’ve been a knitter and textile crafty person. I’ve been looking art knitted art to inspire and awe me, which is how I came across your blog. I like it and am eager to see more.

That’s so exciting! I’m originally from Pittsburgh and moved out to the UK to study– not textiles though! I’ve never been to art school or studied or made art in any formal or professional way. This blog kind of chronicles my attempts to get to that point.
